The unbelievable thing about the vintage magazines is that each and every one of them had at least one photo that had never been published before or after, and this #44 issue of Fantastic Films magazine from June 1985 is no different.
It's got a two page spread on The Terminator, and it's a single article but written by two people strangely enough. First half is a high praise for the movie, which at that point was very successful in every way. It talks about the movie's kinetic energy but underlines that it's a romance at heart and Sarah's and Reese's characters are a large part of what makes the movie so good. It also brings up the comparison of the Terminator to Halloween's Michael Myers.
The other part of the article is mostly a summary of what's been given in the Press Kit. At the end, the article states that Terminator II is already in pre-production. It's interesting to note that this magazine is the second one from 1985 that writes about The Terminator's similarities to the Outer Limits episodes. Again, there weren't many time traveling/paradox movies at the time, so it was the only thing that came to mind on the subject.
While it's only two pages, the magazine is loaded with rarities that you can't even find online nowadays, like the shot of the Hunter Killers, both ground and flying (which they call "Seek and Destroy" machines), and the bunker Infiltrator. It’s also just a second magazine, not counting Cinefex, which had shown an endoskeleton. And not counting Cinefex, the only one from the original theatrical run era that showed a photo of a full scale endo.
