Vintage Collectibles: Terminator 2: Judgment Day Marvel TPB

The comic adaptation of T2 Terminator 2: Judgment Day certainly had good elements and ingredients going for it, enough to make it something special. Unfortunately, Marvel wasn't what DC was when it came to movie adaptations.

Still, T2 had a comic book adaptation published by the almighty Marvel, and both the artwork and ink was done by Klaus Janson of The Dark Knight Returns and Daredevil fame. It was originally released as a three parter starting in September of 1991, and the pics and in depth review of those original issues can be found HERE

Despite having the original issues, I always wanted to have the trade paperback version as well. Is it any different? Well, the paper quality is incomparable. The original issues had a tissue thin paper that was almost see through and smudgy, like a daily newspaper. This has a good sturdy paper, which also very much improves the colors beyond comparison.

This is also a second paperback that collects the entire story, the first being in black and white, shown HERE.
