You could always, always count on Starlog for superb coverage, and they were the best when it came to Terminator 2 Judgment Day. They had articles or interviews in nearly every issue since the film's premiere, and spoke with Jim Cameron, William Wisher, Arnold, Robert Patrick.
In a November 1991 issue of Starlog Spectacular they also spoke to the young John Connor as well, Eddie Furlong, and did a wonderful interview with him.
He of course, talks about being found for the role, how auditioning with Linda Hamilton threw him off, about his relationship with Arnold and the overall experience of filming. The interview was conducted by Mr. Marc Shapiro when they were still filming, and Eddie by that point already chosen his next part (American Heart with Jeff Bridges)
He also reveals that the hardest scenes to do were the Cyberdyne scenes for him, and that Robert Patrick creeped him out when he was in character. He was also afraid of driving in the back of the motorcycle with Arnold. And naturally, he recalls his story of how he was found by the casting director and the entire process of getting cast
There are also a few rare photos thrown in even by today's standards, such as the pic of Eddie with Arnold on the bike and Eddie with Jim Cameron in the arcade, or even the shot of Eddie at the Steel Mill, so that's always a treat.
To top all that, there's a cool, long poster from the scene in which the T-800 explains his mission to John
