After so many September magazines abroad, lets get back to US for a while, with another US magazine issue. T2, Terminator 2: Judgment Day was a big deal in the movie world way before it hit theaters, and it wasn't just a big deal for moviegoers, but for the entire Hollywood as well, and the LA premiere was well covered in both TV and magazines at the time
One of the magazines to cover the T2 premiere was US Magazine, in its September 1991 issue. Along with photos of some of the celebrities that came along with the main stars were Nicolas Cage, Rob Lowe, Whoopi Goldberg, Stallone, Jeff Bridges, Michael Douglas and many more, most of them enjoying the arcade area setup at the premiere. Stallone praises the film and the guests are treated to a lavish party.
The premiere isn't the only T2 related material in this issue, as there's also a page devoted to Linda Hamilton, in which she describes her training in a little greater detail and the satisfaction she had from reaching her goal of transforming her body for the character like that. She yet again reiterates the fact that the body she had for T2 is too much and is toning down, but she said she still trains and felt in love with herself after seeing what she can accomplish.
