Vintage Collectibles: Terminator 2 Kenner's Action Masters Series

The good old Kenner company released few figures off of some of their best lines, which included Star Wars and Aliens among others. Terminator 2 was one of them. Revisiting the license from Carolco Pictures, Kenner released two figures in their 1994 Action Masters series, a T-800 and a T-1000, both packaged with collectible cards that have detailed info about the characters on their back.

The design of both cards and packaging is excellent, it's visually striking and eye catching. The figures themselves aren't really that bad considering their size. The T-1000 is based off the "pretzel" puppet as dubbed by the Stan Winston studio, while the T-800 seems to be from the Cyberdyne shootout, although he didn't have any facial damage yet when using the minigun wile here it looks like he's in the last makeup stage. The shirt is also purple not grey but hey, it's 90's toys let's not be overly critical here.

The whole set has that cool 90's retro vibe and look great with other packaged collectibles from their era. I love 'em
