Modern Collectibles: T2 4K and 3D Blurays

As a passionate fan of films, stories and filmmaking in general,  seeing T2 in 3D and in theaters was the absolute pinnacle of my dreams as a cinema fan. Ever since I experienced 3D for the first time (with Avatar) of course, I just couldnt go back, Since then, watching a movie in 2D is like watching a movie without color in mono. So to have T2 converted to 3D...again, a dream come true as a fan, and it just cant get better than this and an endoskull bust. I went on Thursday night to a pre-premiere and then went again and again on weekends, and I couldnt wait for the 3D version to be released on Bluray. To my huge disappointment, the 3D bluray was never released in US, so I bought the UK version in steelbook and bought region free 3D bluray player for it. Dream come true as a movie fan.

And how great it was to have a brand new documentary on T2. There were plenty from the early 90s but aside from 2003's mini doc featuring on the CGI of the film (a great one too tho), there havent been any new docs since 1993's More Than Meets The Eye. It was so good to see the actors and filmmakers now looking back at the film. Such a thrill

4K Im really not into and I think the picture quality for 4K is a bit off and very silvery so I wont comment on that, but I got this one along with the endoarm bundle

Anyway, for those who dont have it, few pics of the 3D edition

And as a huge T2 3D fan here is my mini display
