Another month, another fantastic issue of UK's Starburst with great Terminator 2: Judgment Day content, in their #160 issue from December 1991. The previous issues had interviews with Jim Cameron, this one shows the first part of an interview with Linda Hamilton.
Linda restates that she didn't even suspect that the first film will be so good while making it, and since then how much she admired and respected James Cameron. As she said, if it wasn't him directing, she wouldn't do it: " Had it been another director I probably wouldn't even considered it because no one esle could have stepped in and replace his vision"
She also talks about Arnold, and regrets being tough on Eddie Furlong, whom she purposely kept on the edge for the sake of the role. She's also clearly fed up with her body overshadowing her fantastic acting in the film, and says she never even expected her body to garner so much attention: "I wasn't prepared for the buzz around my body - how hard I'd pumped up and worked out. All that seems to have overshadowed my acting to some degree. Sure, it was tough to do, but not once did I think, Oh, this is really going to get me noticed. I did it because it was such a part of Sarah's evolved character and my work progress. There's a lot more to her than 'Woman with a Gun' subtext going on that's been overlooked"
The article is augmented with some great, never before published shots of Sarah.
