Vintage Magazine Collection: Starlog #169, August 1991

Here's another one from the excellent Starlog. The issue #169 from August 1991 continues Starlog's proficient coverage of Terminator 2: Judgment Day with a nice 6 pages interview with Arnold Schwarzenegger in an article form, written by none other than Marc Shapiro - Starlog's chief T2 writer.

Arnold talks about his refusal to do sequels other than for The Terminator, the success of the first film, his character being a good guy this time around (which he always seemed to defend as not being good, but having a different mission while still being a dangerous machine) and more. He reveals a scene that scared him the most in T2, which is walking through the flaming doorframe at Cyberdyne, right after the Terminator blows the door open with the grenade launcher.
In the article/interview, Arnold also praises Eddie Furlong and Robert Patrick, citing Robert's dedication and stamina among other things that impressed him.
He also yet again confirms that T2 was always going to happen (He also said that the premise of T2 had been in talks even during the shooting of the first film in the Official Magazine), by saying "Jim and I always knew we would do it. That was never the question"

The other thing of note is that here, for the second time (the first in the Official Magazine) he mentions his willingness to do a third film even thought Cameron insists it's an ending to the saga, in a somewhat ominous quote: "I know Jim rules out the third film, but I don't"
