A lot of classic films, and especially films with an established mythology, have, what one would call, a Bible. The spoken Bible for the film would be an audio commentary by either the director or the writer. Nothing can top that. But if there is an equivalent of a written bible, then that would have been a press kit back in the days.
Press Kits are a package that was carefully prepared by the movie studio and their marketing team, and contained movie synopsis, credits, bios for the director and the actors, and, most importantly, writeup on the film and every aspect of its production. It was then sent out to all kinds of different magazines and publishers, augmented by black and white photos. Some publications used strictly the photos provided by the press kit, some licensed colorful ones. Some simply took the most interesting quotes from the Press Kit as their article, some didn't use any info in it at all.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day Press Kit Information section is styled in a magazine format. It's got 50 plus pages on every aspect of the movie's production and quotes from nearly everyone involved. The information on the film and its production is so extensive that 15 pages alone are dedicated to the cast and crew talking about the movie. It is also of course, the first place where Arnold Schwarzenegger's model is revealed as the T-800, while the new Terminator is revealed to be a T-1000.
Most of what the information book contains is what we can see in 1991's Makin Of of Terminator 2 Documentary, and nearly all the quotes can be heard there, but the booklet goes a bit beyond what's in the documentary.
The press kit was overquoted in the publications at the time of the movie's release - many magazines seemed to have the same article, using the same few quotes from the first few pages of the kit.
The press kit also comes with 16 black and white 8x10s
It's relatively easier to find than the original's, although it's not cheap either. Its price ranges between a little over a $100 to even few hundred. Here are some samples:
