The year 2024 marked the 40th Anniversary of James Cameron's 1984 actual debut picture (while it used to be a common knowledge that he didn't actually directed Piranha 2 as he was fired after just few days of shooting and the movie was directed, finished and edited with a different director, I'm not sure it still is. I remember first watching/reading the text commentary on T2 Extreme DVD when it came out in 2003, and being absolutely blown away by the artistic side of T2 I havent focused on before. Particularly, the deliberate lighting of the T-800 during the Hasta La Vista scene - that the mechanical side was lit in blue and darkened by shadow and the human side was lit with warm orange, symbolizing the triumph of his humanity. Modern Collectibles: The Terminator CCG (Customizable Card Game) 2000

It's tricky nowadays what you call Modern and what you call Vintage Collectibles. I mean, form my point of view, what came out in 2000 is Modern, but I realized there are readers of Terminator Trilogy that weren't even born then yet! But I always thought of using the term "Modern" to describe collectibles that weren't released in the initial release period, so they were released after the initial wave of merch had passed and a decade, or close to it, passed since the release of the last Jim Cameron's full length Terminator film. Kind of like an afterthought or legacy merchandise.
